A "Termite Inspection" is a "structural pest control inspection".

Things To Do

• Remove everything from under sinks in kitchens and bathrooms.
• Remove everything from within two feet of the exterior of the home.
• Remove everything in the interior of the garage two feet away from the wall.
• Trim back any bushes or shrubs that conceals the walls or foundations.
• Make sure attic access is not blocked by storage.
• If access is in the closet, please remove clothing so insulation does not fall on them.
• If your house is on a raised foundation make sure the access opening is not blocked by storage.

The inspector will also be looking for fungus and water damage and for conditions such as plumbing leaks or earth to wood contact that can lead to termite or fungus damage.
